KRP Communications Expands Account Executive and Engineering Staffs in Canada

May 4th, 2009 / All ArticlesBurnaby, BC, May 4, 2009—North American voice and data communications provider KRP Communications (www.krpcomm.com), announced staff additions to its Canadian account management and engineering areas.
New to the organization are Janet Hawley, Account Executive, and Owen Cameron, System Engineer, assigned to KRP’s Halifax, Nova Scotia office; Brendon Joseph, Account Executive assigned to KRP’s Toronto, Ontario office; and Koshala Basnayake, Systems Engineer employed at KRP’s Burnaby, British Columbia office.
Ms. Hawley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia; and an Applied Information Technology designation from the Information Technology Institute in Halifax. She has over 12 years experience in sales, serving as an Account Executive, an Account Manager and a Market Manager for IT and telecommunications companies.
Mr. Owen, who holds a college degree in business, served as a network engineer in Centerbeam’s St. John, New Brunswick data center; and as a technician, quality assurance and help desk team leader for EDS Canada. He brings network management, support and engineering skills to KRP customers.
Mr. Joseph holds college degrees in electrical engineering and business management, and brings a comprehensive background in customer-centric sales, business management and electrical engineering to KRP. He was formerly a sales mentor and coach for SAS Institute Canada, specializing in customer-centric selling.
Mr. Basnayake, who is rejoining KRP, holds certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, Novell and Oracle networks and databases, and has a Diploma in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia. His industry background is in telecommunications.
